As a Pipe Foreman, you will be involved with managing commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects and assist with project needs including material management, personnel, schedules and communication with project management team, customers and building officials.
Job Duties
- Knowledge of project schedule/milestones, submittals, contract documents (addenda, specifications, drawings) and in-house shop drawings
- Ability to coordinate with other trades to complete HVAC/piping installations within project scope and schedule
- Experience managing project crews to install HVAC piping
- Accountable for the safe performance of personnel and equipment
- Understanding and complies with the company tool policy and can pass these values to less experienced employees
- Involved with completing required electronic documentations including daily reports, next week plans, accident reports, disciplinary reports, etc.
- Able to install piping systems to include chilled, hot and steam piping
- Able to work off ladders, man lifts and other equipment from various heights
- Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned
Requirements
- 8 or more years of experience as a pipe/welding foreman on commercial construction projects preferred
- 6G certification required
- Experience supervising job site personnel – Journeyman and Apprentice
- Experience installing chillers, boilers and cooling towers
- Experience installing chilled, hot and steam piping
- OSHA 30 certification preferred (company will provide if needed)
- High school diploma or GED preferred

Compensation
- Wage Range Starting at: $28.00+/hr. based on qualifications & experience
