Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with experience in the life sciences industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying technical solutions, and ensuring that IT systems meet the needs of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business processes and requirements within the life sciences domain.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and implement technical solutions to improve business processes and support life sciences operations.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend enhancements to existing systems.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure successful implementation of technical solutions.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including business requirements, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
- Monitor and report on the performance of implemented solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in life sciences and technology.
- Connect with customers on those KPIs and mockups and drive the discussion to identify the gaps.
- Work with the UIUX team to convert into Figma screens.
- Covert all the requirements into well descriptive documentation.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with a focus on life sciences.
- Strong understanding of life sciences industry regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in business analysis and technical documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with life sciences software and tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
- Commercial pharmaceutical data knowledge required, including (Veeva data, Shipment data, Market access data, Finance data, etc.), KPIs (TRx, NBRx, Territory alignments, etc.), and can interpret the relevance of that KPI from Field reporting (different personas FS, ASL, RD, VP) and home office reporting perspective.
