Job Title: Instrumentation Technician
Location: Niagara Falls, NY
Duration: 12 Months Contract + High Possibility of Extension
1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Pay Range: $25/Hr - $35/Hr (Depending upon experience)
Job Description:
- Looking for an Instrumentation Technician, you will report to the Development Laboratory Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the test firing of rocket engines.
- Program, set up, and operate data acquisition DAQ systems for fire testing of liquid rocket engines.
- Perform complex assignments involving the setup and running of data acquisition (DAQ) systems and data reduction software which includes the calibration of test equipment and instrumentation.
- Contribute practical solutions to problems that may arise while completing assigned tasks.
- Perform data reduction of fire tests.
- Determine the proper connection of test cell instruments to the DAQ.
- Set up and verify test cell instrumentation systems.
- Perform complex modification and repair of electronic systems and components.
- Clean, repair, calibrate, and operate gages, transducers, flow meters, and force systems.
- Work to control documentation, procedures, and drawings.
- Occasionally work in and around rocket test cells.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- An associate's degree in a related field with at least 2 years as an APDT or 6 years of related experience. OR
- Four-year technical degree in a related field with at least 2 years as an APDT or 4 years of related experience.
