The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of a multi-family construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas to maintain the safety of workers, property and the surrounding community. Candidates should be experienced in communicating project milestones and contingencies with clients and other critical parties. Most critically, superintendents will be able to establish and maintain realistic schedules for project progress and completion.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operation of residential construction projects
- Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
- Establish and communicate monthly look-ahead schedules to vendors and subcontractors
- Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
- Manage subcontractors, construction site organization, safety and security.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of experience in construction supervision.
- Strong project management, communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Familiarity with regulatory construction standards and procedures
- Prior use of BuilderTrend or other online platform for completing detailed daily logs
