Revology Cars is hiring a Heavy Collision Technician at the Orlando, Florida facility where we build 1965-1968 Ford® Mustang® and Shelby® GT new licensed reproduction rolling chassis and restored original automobiles.
In the Body department, auto body technicians assemble, weld, fit, gap, and metal finish. This position will be focused within this area of production and will require someone to have an expert level skillset.
PAY AND BENEFITS
- An auto body technician at Revology Cars will earn hourly rates depending on skills and experience and the position to which they are assigned. Technicians can earn more if willing to work overtime.
- This is not a flat rate job. The pay is stable, and you don't have to worry about not being assigned enough hours.
- The work week is 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

- 80.0 hours paid time off (PTO) starts accruing immediately after hire, and new hires are eligible for holiday pay (72.0 hours per year) after only 90 days.

REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred experience in heavy collision, custom car builds and/or restoration.
- Experience cutting, welding, shaping, fitting and gapping body panels with extreme precision and care.
- The ability to shape panels without warping through metal work, not through the use of fillers.
- The ability to align panels, fenders, doors and hoods within a +/- 0.5mm tolerance.
- A paid work test will be required to demonstrate your skillset and allow our team to evaluate your techniques and abilities as an auto body expert.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability and willingness to learn and follow safety rules and procedures.
- Willingness and ability to work on any assigned schedule, change shifts periodically, work more than 8 hours per day and/or work overtime, while maintaining good attendance.
- Ability to perform manual labor, standing and walking much of the time, and with a certain amount of manual dexterity (the ability to pick up, handle, and manipulate tools, parts, and/or materials quickly and accurately).
- Ability to maneuver into, around, and about vehicles or components on an assembly line. Tasks may require a certain amount of reaching, twisting, and bending.
- Ability to learn, remember, and maintain pace of steps involved in performing a job after instruction, training, and familiarization with the tasks.
- Ability and willingness to understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written.
- Ability to perceive differences in very specific details when inspecting parts or work performed, checking for defects or quality issues, or when distinguishing various parts/components by identification number or code.
- Ability and willingness to work in a team environment, including helping co-workers, maintaining, and promoting a safe work environment, treating co-workers with dignity and respect regardless of personal differences, and accepting and following instructions and requests from leadership.
- Must have a keen eye for detail, great dexterity, inquisitive, and take pride in his/her work.
- Able to work efficiently and consistently with a quality mindset.
- Must have successfully completed a technical program in auto body repair or have equivalent experience in automotive body, restoration, mechanical, and/or electrical work. Experience in restoration or high-end collision is preferred.
- All positions require the ability and willingness to follow work instructions and do things the same way, to the same high standard of quality, every time.
- All positions require familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use, or willingness to learn how to use, an iPad.
