We are looking to add a Water Quality Engineer to our growing Water Resources Team. This role will be based out of Orange County, CA but offers a hybrid and flexible hour schedule. This position will focus on supporting hydrology and storm quality review, analysis, modeling, and report writing. The ideal candidate will also be able to support other project needs including design, plan production, and general engineering tasks.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform hydrology mapping and calculations.
- Perform hydraulic calculations for sizing stormwater devices.
- Ensure projects compliance to both state and federal rules and regulations related to stormwater quality.
- Complete thorough and accurate reports for the hydrology and hydraulics of various projects.
- Complete calculations and stormwater reports (WQMP, LID, SWPPP).
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
- 2-5+ years experience in H&H and stormwater work required. Experience completing Drainage Studies and preparing stormwater reports required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and other civil engineering/hydrology software strongly desired.
- EIT/PE license a plus but not required.
