Must Haves:
- Able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree Cyber, IT, Computer Science, or related
- 10+ years of experience in a general IT position
- 5+ years of experience within a Cyber or Information Assurance position
- 3+ years of experience in a lead or management role, with good communication
- Experience with BigFix, Splunk, Tenable or Crowdstrike
- Familiar with NIST 800-53 regulatory cybersecurity guidelines
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CISM, CBCP or GSLC required

Day-to-day: An employer is looking for a IT Security Manager in the DC area. They will be overseeing a team of ISSO’s and Cybersecurity Analysts, manage the distribution of and assignment of tickets, and validate compliance deadlines and documentation. They will train, develop, and oversee this team. They will manage the security operations for the contract, such as, incident response, ATOs, vulnerability management, etc. They will be creating dashboards and generating reports. This person must have working knowledge and experience with Tenable, Splunk, CSAM/ACAS, and BigFix. This person must also be able to ensure technical and regulatory aspects of security are handled efficiently and effectively.
