Technical/Functional Skills 1. Provide high-level test effort estimate
2. Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases
3. Set up a test harness to test functionality
4. Automation feasibility study, development & maintenance of API, functional, integration and load/performance scripts across platforms
5. Build, deploy application & conduct manual and automated testing as per defined process
6. Report and follow up of defects found until closure
7. Analyze logs in order to understand the root causes of issues
8. Participate in agile ceremonies - standups, planning sessions and retrospectives
9. Perform automated nightly application regression & performance test
10. Functional/Integration/Production testing by leveraging CI/CD Pipeline
11. Work both independently and in close collaboration with others in the team and across the business to achieve quality & performance engineering goals
12. Bring the quality consciousness, test leadership and customer advocacy
13. Create and maintain HOWTOs and other materials for quality & performance engineering team
14. Knowledge Management/Retention - Cross training & documentation
15. Actively coach/mentor quality engineers
16. Publish KPIs & metrics, ensure process compliance
17. Onsite - Offshore co-ordination, if needed
Experience Required 1. 12 years of SAP Experience out of which 8 years of SAP Security experience from Blueprint to Go-live
2. Ability to conduct and drive security design workshop with customer stakeholders
3. Should have SAP Security Design and Implementation experience
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate security concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
5. Highly self-motivated and directed
6. Excellent attention to detail
7. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a complex environment
8. Should have a SAP functional background in any of the SAP modules
Roles & Responsibilities 1. B.S degree or higher in computer science or related education
2. 5+ yrs. of experience in software engineering - QE testing
3. 3+ yrs. of experience in testing news website, subscription products, SEO, ads, metrics, video players (live/on-demand) & streaming media content on desktop & mobile platforms
4. 3+ yrs. of experience in software engineering - QE automation
5. Must be proficient in Java
6. Must have experience implementing automation frameworks – (Selenium WebDriver/Appium/TestNG/Junit)
7. Must have experience with performance testing tools to measure server & client-side metrics
8. Must have experience using Version control (GIT), SQL, CI/CD Tools (Jenkins), Build Tools (Maven, ANT, etc), Debugging Tools (Charles/Fiddler), Monitoring tools (New Relic), Agile Management Tool (JIRA), Test Management Tool (TestRail)
9. Any certification related to QE/Process/Automation/Performance Test
