POSITION SUMMARY
The Construction Finance Manager is responsible for reviewing 12-15 Cardone Ventures’ clients’ financial reports, monitoring accounts, and preparing activity reports and financial forecasts. The Finance Manager will also investigate ways to improve profitability and analyze markets for business opportunities, such as expansion, mergers, or acquisitions.
This individual will play a key role in assisting Cardone Ventures’ clients with achieving their transformational growth plans by setting objectives, planning business development strategies with other team members, and holding the members accountable to the plan. The successful incumbent will be well versed in the finance industry and will possess the ability to work and collaborate effectively within a highly fast-paced and team-centric environment.

OBJECTIVES
- Conduct weekly/monthly follow-up with clients to determine the effectiveness of financial plans and fine-tune the tactics needed to increase profitability
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, and Professional Development, to develop monthly strategies, quarterly plans, and annual plans for clients
- Drive plans for major financial strategies, spending, system management, financial processes/controls for clients
- Work on optimizing and analyzing income statements, balance sheets, budgets, forecasts, and charts of accounts for clients
- Manage the quarterly/annual budgeting, revenue forecasting, and financial review process for assigned Cardone Ventures clients

- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages, activity reports, and financial forecasts for clients
- Create incentive compensation plans for clients’ team members
- Collaborate with clients to set short- and long-term financial goals
- Create and deliver financial details and summaries to Cardone Ventures’ Leadership Team and clients
COMPETENCIES
- Demonstration of an understanding of all aspects of a client’s business from a financial standpoint and how it connects to the financial strategy and current financial standing of the business
- Ability to analyze a client's revenue streams, gross margin rates and profitability by product in an effort to devise forward-looking strategies and areas of opportunity
- Can help make decisions for the client based on their margin rates, labor rates, cash position and financial obligations
- Understanding of month-end closing cycle and can walk a client through the checklist
- Ability to develop complex financial models, budgets, and financial reporting packages
- Ability to analyze financial data and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows) to devise the financial strategy of the business and where the resources and personnel time should be deployed
- Ability to understand the client’s budget and roles within their team to develop individual incentive based off of performance metrics and KPIs
- Ability to make financial recommendations that will move the client’s business , grow their revenue and enhance their profitability
- Understanding of cash to accrual concepts, the benefits of each, and the impact on moving from one to the other
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel functions and formulas to increase efficiency and the ability to analyze data within the business
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related area of study, or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years’ work experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a consulting capacity
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
