Job Title: NetSuite techno-functional SME (Finance)
Location: Remote or hybrid onsite in Irvine, CA (Must already reside in CA)
Employment Type: COntract (6 months)
Compensation: $75.00 to 100.00 per hour W2 (based on experience)
Company Overview:
Partnered with a client who is a public company needing to optimize their financial and supply chain operations. As they continue to scale, they are looking for a dedicated Techno/Functional Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with extensive experience in the NetSuite ERP system to support the finance team and ensure compliance with SOX regulations.

Job Summary:
The Techno/Functional BSA will play a critical role in assisting the finance team with auditing, data modeling, reporting, and integration with third-party vendors, etc. The ideal candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert in NetSuite, particularly in finance (supply chain management and inventory control are helpful). This role involves collaborating with business partners, setting controls and processes, and enhancing system functionality to improve overall operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Support: Assist with SOX compliance auditing and ensure financial closing processes align with regulatory standards.
- Job Scaling & Data Modeling: Support job scaling initiatives and develop effective data models to optimize reporting and analytics.
- Reporting: Create and maintain custom reports, safe searches, and ad hoc reporting to meet the needs of the finance team.
- Customer Data Management: Manage customer data and bundles through third-party vendors, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- NetSuite Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in NetSuite, guiding the finance team in optimizing system configuration and functionality.
- Integration Management: Collaborate with external vendors (ADP, Workday, Adaptive Planning) for seamless integration and data flow.
- System Troubleshooting: Navigate and troubleshoot issues within NetSuite, working closely with business partners to resolve technical challenges.
- Deployment of Changes: Assist in deploying new changes, functionality, and releases within the NetSuite ERP system.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead UAT processes for new features and functionality to ensure successful implementation.
- Workflow Automation: Participate in automating workflows related to payables and procurement processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Work collaboratively with the finance team to identify opportunities for process enhancements and system optimizations.

Qualifications:
- Experience: A seasoned Techno/Functional BSA, with a strong focus on NetSuite ERP.
- NetSuite Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of NetSuite modules, particularly in finance.
- SOX Compliance: Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and auditing processes.
- Reporting Skills: Experience developing custom reports, safe searches, and using NetSuite's reporting tools.
- Integration Knowledge: Understanding of integration processes with third-party vendors such as ADP, Workday, and Adaptive Planning.
- Technical Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to communicate effectively with both IT and business stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
