**Position Summary:**
The Finance Manager will report directly to the business leader and play a crucial role in driving financial excellence within the sales subsidiary. This role requires a deep understanding of sales finance business partnering and ideally, experience in the generic drug and CDMO industries.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the sales subsidiary.
- Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
2. Sales Finance Business Partnering
- Work closely with the sales team to understand business needs and provide financial support and insights.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and profitability.
- Support pricing decisions and contract negotiations from a financial perspective.
3. Cost Management
- Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability targets are met.
- Analyze cost structures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement cost control measures and monitor their effectiveness.
4. Financial Reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits and provide necessary financial information.
5. Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of finance professionals.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the team.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
1. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
2. Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a sales finance business partnering role.
- Experience in the generic drug and/or CDMO industry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
3. Skills
