We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property law and a passion for serving rural communities. You will be responsible for providing legal counsel, representing clients in court, and handling a variety of legal matters related to rural land ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to rural landowners on issues such as property disputes, land use, agricultural law, and estate planning.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to land transactions and other property matters.
- Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.
- Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting rural land ownership.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal services.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Texas and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property law, with a focus on rural land issues preferred.
- Strong understanding of Texas property laws, land use regulations, and agricultural law.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for serving rural communities and understanding the unique challenges faced by landowners.
