Lead Blockchain Engineer - EVM Specialist - REMOTE

Key Responsibilities for the Lead Blockchain Engineer:
- Technology Leadership: Steer the continuous architecture, design, and development of the organization's blockchain infrastructure to satisfy the specifications of a decentralized, permissionless, and open ecosystem.
- Collaboration with Product Team: Align engineering activities accurately with the product roadmap in conjunction with the product team, ensuring technical solutions are viable, scalable, and timely delivered.
- Innovation in Identity & Privacy: Design and execute advanced decentralized identity protocols, track and trace systems, ZKP, and other technologies enhancing privacy, maintaining the organization’s position as a leader in security and governance in Web3.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work alongside product, business development, and commercial teams to transform customer and stakeholder requirements into technical specifications, playing a crucial role in integrating third-party solutions and propelling new product initiatives.
- Developer Ecosystem Building: Develop and enhance a dynamic developer ecosystem, engaging with external developers to ensure thorough documentation, successful onboarding, and ongoing improvements to developer tools and experiences.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report crucial engineering and product metrics, aligning with organizational objectives and identifying potential areas for enhancement and innovation.
- Security and Compliance: Manage the implementation of top security practices and adherence to relevant standards, ensuring all engineering activities comply with the organization’s commitments to responsible and sustainable trading practices.
Qualifications for the Lead Blockchain Engineer:
- Experience: At least 7-10 years of direct engineering experience in the Web3 EVM environment, with a proven history as a senior engineer or leader in a public, permissionless blockchain Layer 1 team.
- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge in EVM-based decentralized identity protocols, privacy solutions, and blockchain governance. Strong expertise in full-stack development focused on scalable, secure, and interoperable blockchain solutions.
- Product Collaboration: Demonstrated competency in collaborating closely with product management teams to convert product visions into executable engineering strategies and successful implementations.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire both internal and external engineering teams, while maintaining hands-on involvement and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, adept at explaining complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
