Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer – Up to $65K – Nashville, TN – Audio Industry
Platform have partnered up with a long term client of ours in the audio industry to build out their hardware team. They’re a global audio equipment manufacturer, on the lookout for a graduate or junior mechanical engineer.
Main Duties:
+ Design of audio equipment (largely electronics enclosures)
+ Design of molded components for user interface
+ Materials Selection
+ Mechanical Analysis – dealing with thermal expansion etc
Skills and experience required:
+ Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering
+ A relevant university project would be fantastic
+ Experience designing electronics packaging
+ FEA, Thermal analysis etc
+ An interest in the music industry would go a long way
What you’ll get:
