We’re partnered with one of LA’s leading venture capital-backed defence tech start-ups, which is developing next-generation aerospace/defence systems.
You’ll lead embedded Linux / software development on greenfield complex aerospace and defense systems and projects, through the full software development lifecycle, including elements of flight software.
Lead Linux Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of embedded software for flight computers and other critical, brand-new, aerospace and defence systems.
- Collaborate across Electrical and Hardware division to seamlessly integrate software solutions.
- Configure RTOS, microprocessors, and Linux kernels/drivers.
- Design and execute comprehensive software test and integration cases
Lead Linux Engineer Requirements:
- Experience with Embedded C, C++ and Linux environments (or relevant).
- Knowledge of Defence, Space, or Aerospace ideally.
- Full cradle to grave of embedded software experience (full Software Development Lifecycle SWDLC)
- US Citizenship or Green Card
