A global aerospace manufacturing company is looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist to help lead the implementation, management, and troubleshooting of their network and system environments!
This role provides comprehensive user support on hardware and software functions vital to the manufacturing process, with a primary goal of maintaining top-tier performance and availability of the IT infrastructure (including workstations) for seamless productivity throughout the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and install essential software and hardware to maintain system performance and availability, with escalation as required.
- Maintain and support the IT network to ensure constant access to company systems.
- Conduct regular system checks as per standard procedures, and resolve help desk tickets
- Deploy software using Microsoft System Center, and administer backup processes to ensure their reliability.
- Install and support user workstations, ensuring they meet operational needs.
- Patch and troubleshoot network connections; Perform LAN, WAN, and VPN administrative tasks.
- Advise on, participate in, and/or lead IT infrastructure projects to enhance the company’s IT capabilities.
- Offer technical training and create documentation for users, IT staff, and external partners to ensure effective knowledge transfer within the organization.
- Enforce compliance with standard policies and procedures.
- Install and maintain telephony systems, video conferencing tools, and other communication technologies to ensure effective communication across the company.
- Provide support for end-users and resolve escalated help desk tickets related to communication tools.
