Holcim Building Envelope, a global leader in building materials and solutions, is seeking a dedicated Quality Management System Manager to join our Quality Assurance team!
This position is crucial for promoting and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with the required industry standards and business requirements. This role is designed for a proactive and knowledgeable individual who can effectively manage system compliance, lead training programs, and handle audit non-conformities to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and Sustain QMS: Create and maintain a QMS framework aligned with ISO 9001. Oversee process monitoring, measurement, and improvement.
- Ensure Ongoing Compliance: Ensure ISO 9001 compliance across departments. Handle external QMS registration and act as liaison with certification bodies.
- Training and Development: Equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to utilize the QMS effectively in their daily operations. Update employees on standards and quality requirements.
- Audit Management: Conduct internal and process audits. Support third-party audits, manage non-conformities, and develop improvement strategies.
- Documentation: Manage document control and ensure systems meet customer and audit requirements. Update documentation as needed.
- Reporting: Track and report QMS performance metrics to management and stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement improvement initiatives based on audits and feedback. Foster a culture of quality within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality or Manufacturing Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent professional certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management systems, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and experience in managing compliance with these standards.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to train and motivate teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
