JURISolutions is seeking an Employee Benefits Attorney for a part-time remote opportunity with our corporate client.
This candidate will be ERISA counsel to HR & Finance clients, supporting retirement and health & welfare plan design and administration work. Duties can include vendor contracting and oversight; implementation of benefit plan changes; support of compliance activities (Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, No Surprises Act, Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, & HIPAA); internal governance and fiduciary processes. This candidate must have 5+ years of experience counseling fiduciary clients on operation of employee benefit plans. Must have Health & Welfare experience, M&A and retirement plan experience is a plus.
This position is anticipated to be part-time (~24 hrs/wk), for 7 months. This can be remote, or in-person, in Houston.
