Seeking a hungry to learn, motivated, detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer with 0-3 years of experience. Preferred project experience includes HCAI (Healthcare), multifamily, and commercial construction. As a Project Engineer, you will support the Project Manager and Superintendent in all aspects of project management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure compliance with HCAI regulations and guidelines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of work.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and safety, reporting any issues to the Project Manager.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
- Assist in cost control and budget management, ensuring project stays within financial targets.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained and organized for easy access and reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
- 0-3 years of experience in construction, with exposure to HCAI, multifamily, or commercial projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
