We are looking for a hybrid Project Manager / Owner's Rep with multi-family construction experience. The ideal Project Manager/Owner's Rep will have proven experience in closing out multifamily projects with accuracy and profitability. Someone that has experience in managing a multifamily project from start to finish and enjoys managing and training PMs, APMs and PEs with effective, inspiring communication.
Responsibilities
- Act as the firm's owner's rep by leading budget coordination, contracting and reporting with 3rd party GCs.
- Support all upcoming development projects
- Assist the teams during investment committee submission meetings
- Provide project management expertise during design and budgeting, closing, construction and project completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years experience in multi-family construction preferred
- Experience with design, utilities, permitting, contracting, reporting and the monthly construction draw process
- Market knowledge within U.S. markets Midwest, Southeast, Southwest, some travel involved
- Familiar with market rate and tax credit development
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
- Experience with integrated real estate development company that offers finance construction architecture and or property management
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with a team
