Waltz|Reeves seeks a new law school graduate or young associate attorney with 0-3 years of experience to join its Downtown Denver office.
Ideal candidates will be motivated and detail-oriented, looking to work on various litigation defense matters. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior attorneys on complex cases, engage in all phases of litigation, and develop your legal skills in a supportive and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other court documents.
- Assist in preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and reviewing documents.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
- Stay current with developments in relevant areas of law and share insights with the team.
Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado. Additional licensing in Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, and/or Nebraska is a plus. The salary range is $75,000-$100,000 annually, depending on skills and experience. The Firm offers medical, dental, life insurance, 401K, paid leave, and other tax-reportable benefits. A hybrid work schedule is available after an initial period of employment.
