Montgomery Technology Systems, LLC (MTS) is looking for a Field Service Technician. MTS installs electronic control, intercom, card access, and CCTV systems in detention facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and relevant experience. It is essential that the candidate be a self-starter, capable of being effective without constant supervision and able to anticipate and solve problems before being told to do so.
Responsibilities
· Install, maintain and repair electronic control, intercom, card access, and CCTV systems
· Inspect and test electronic equipment and components
· Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
· Travel to conduct service work
· Climb ladders, work from heights and in small spaces, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
· Present professional image in conduct, attitude, and appearance
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Valid driver’s license
· Must be able to pass drug test(s) and background check(s) as required by company.
· 5 years of experience installing and/or servicing card access or CCTV systems.
· Must be Licensed or Certified in one or more of the following; Fire Alarm, Access Control and Burglar Alarm

Travel
Travel is required. Most trips will be same day or overnight trips. Some weeklong trips. Expect to be out of town two to three weeks per month on average. Almost all weekends off.
