We are seeking a skilled and passionate UX Researcher to lead a dynamic team of researchers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user research, a deep understanding of financial services, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive design and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute user research studies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies to gather qualitative and quantitative data about user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations. Use various methodologies to analyze data and present findings in a clear, compelling manner to stakeholders.
- Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to integrate user research findings into the design and development process. Provide guidance on user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Develop detailed user personas and customer journey maps to help the team better understand target users and their interactions with our products and services.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that user needs and preferences are considered in all stages of product development.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX research. Apply this knowledge to enhance our research methods and tools.
- Oversee and manage research projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of results and adherence to project goals.
- Prepare and present research reports and presentations to various stakeholders, including executive leadership. Provide actionable recommendations based on research findings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 5+years of experience in UX research, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of research methods and outcomes. Experience in the financial services sector is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in research tools and methodologies (e.g., usability testing, surveys, ethnographic studies).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to various audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with UX design tools and practices.
- A user-centered mindset with a passion for improving user experiences.
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong project management skills.
