The position is for a mid to junior-level Environmental Scientist/Geologist to join our company and assist with our projects that requires completing the following task:
· Phase I ESA and Phase II Site investigations and Phase III soil and groundwater remediation.
· Sampling air, soil and groundwater.
· Drilling and monitoring well installation oversight, logging soil boreholes and preparing boring logs.
· Aquifer testing, vapor intrusion assessments, TCEQ affected property assessments, RCRA and CERCLA evaluations.
· Preparation of tables, figures, maps and reports that are required by the TCEQ and the RRC in Texas and other such agencies in NM, OK LA.
The candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in the environmental field, completing the above tasks. Postgraduate or additional degrees and PG or PE qualified candidates are preferred. Candidate should be proficient with MS Office Suite and experienced preparing technical reports, memos, response to comments, tables and graphs. Additional skills necessary are attention to detail, data analysis, conceptual site model, problem solver, work collaboratively with peers, contractors, managers and clients. The candidate should be flexible, willing to travel (valid driver’s license) work extended hours when required in the office or in the field, is self-motivated and can work from home without supervision, at the client’s office, or with other company staff and managers.
