Job Title: Tier 2/3 IT Engineer
Location: Fully on-site in Purceville, VA
Job Summary:
The IT Specialist will provide advanced support for Office 365, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments. In this role you will manage and resolve complex IT issues, supporting cloud migrations from on-premises to cloud infrastructures, and ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote and on-site technical support in Office 365, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments
- Train end-users on basic computer and software usage
- Manage and resolve complex IT issues escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams
- Plan and execute cloud migrations from on-premises environments to cloud infrastructures
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services, networking, and security
- Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud services and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for cloud environments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT support (Tier 1 - 3)
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office suite, and common software applications
- Experience with cloud migration projects (planning, execution, and troubleshooting)
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications
