Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for a Litigation Strategist Attorney.
Overview: Our client is looking for a litigation attorney to join its growing team.
Company: A Prominent Litigation Trial Research and Consultancy.
Experience: 5-8+ years complex commercial litigation experience at an Am Law firm.
Location: Hybrid, with offices in Soho (4 days in office)
Responsibilities Include:
The position will report directly to a Directors of Litigation Strategy, who will provide assignments, guidance, and feedback. The attorney will assist with the following tasks:
- Development of focus group presentations and post-focus group analyses: Attorneys are responsible for conducting case intake, drafting presentation materials for focus groups, reviewing and analyzing the results of the focus group alongside the research and psychology team, and developing trial strategy recommendations.
- Conceptualization of demonstrative aids: Attorneys are responsible for helping develop and create ideas for demonstrative concepts to be used in focus group presentations and at trial.
- Legal analysis and writing: Attorneys are responsible for conducting legal research, preparing memoranda, and developing strategies to best present evidence and testimony during trial. Attorneys will also help draft opening statements, closing statements, direct and cross-examination outlines to help prepare witnesses for depositions and trial, and review trial transcripts.
Qualifications Include:
- The ideal candidate should have complex civil litigation experience, 5-8 + years. Preference for Big Law.
- Although no legal field is preferred, current roster of cases includes contract disputes, antitrust, SEC investigations (criminal), intellectual property, defamation, and civil fraud.
- A J.D. degree, strong legal research, and superb writing skills are required.
