In this diverse and rewarding role, you'll play a key part in enhancing and modifying existing designs for a variety of projects. You’ll collaborate with the team, working hands-on with the Assembly and Field Service departments to bring your designs to life, meeting with clients when necessary to deliver truly unique solutions tailored to their needs.
This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer, with a background in Automation Design, looking to really step up into positions of seniority and leadership.
The role:
- Integral part of the Design team, modifying and upgrading existing Automation Designs
- Working with the Project Manager, Robotics and Electrical teams to bring designs to life
- Occasionally meet with customers, working with them on their specific requirements
- Monday – Friday (Days based role)
The person:
- Proven Automation Design experience (Solidworks)
- Familiar with Robotic Cells, Sensors, Robotics, Conveyors or similar
- Comfortable with occasional customer-facing responsibilities
- Looking to be a core member of a close-knot business, where you can further progress your career
