The Company:
We are working with a leading renewable energy company as a Data Governance Lead. This role is crucial in shaping their data strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving innovation within their data infrastructure.
The Role:
As the Data Governance Lead, you will:
- Build and manage our internal data warehouse and acquire new datasets (approx. 400k files).
- Establish regulations and rules for data handling.
- Oversee data from assets, outages, and the energy spectrum.
- Identify and prioritize use cases for energy usage, outages, maintenance, and more.
- Consolidate data for analytics functions.
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks.
- Establish data ownership and stewardship roles.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Leverage tools like Atlan, Qualytics, Calibra, and Informatica for data governance and management.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in data governance frameworks and compliance.
- Familiarity with data governance tools such as Atlan, Qualytics, Calibra, and Informatica.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the utilities or renewable energy industry preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- GCP experience is a plus.
Benefits:
As a Data Governance Lead, you will receive a $145,000 - $160,000 base plus bonus and Health, dental, and vision care.
