Our direct client is looking to bring aboard a Software Engineer on a long-term contract basis with potential to become a permanent position in the future. Become an integral member of the team responsible for collaboration and building proof of concepts. Design complex systems and solutions to support the organization's mission and goals. and develop software applications.
Looking for candidates local to the Milwaukee, WI area or nearby for occasional coffee or lunch meetings. Candidate must be able to become a direct employee of this client without sponsorship.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:
- Multiple years of professional experience in a software engineering role focused on web-based systems and data engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in building software solutions from scratch, scaling them with growth and integration with off-the-shelf software.
- Proficient with React, Java, Node.js, JavaScript, Python and SQL or other equivalent tech stacks.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud services (e.g. Amazon AWS) and related infrastructure, REST APIs and data pipelines.
- Proven experience designing and developing scalable engineering solutions and a record of accomplishment of collaboration with product and design teams.
- Proficiency in agile development methodologies, SDLC tooling and Dev Ops.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in healthcare or digital health preferred.
