Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to spearhead the sourcing strategy for Sales Services & Customer Value. This role focuses on harnessing data to drive innovations in life-changing medicines for patients, encompassing Market Access, Marketing Data, Secondary Data Analysis, and Real World Data. The position involves overseeing US outsourcing services across various therapeutic areas in Human Pharma, ensuring our company leads in data-driven drug development and market access. We are looking for a dynamic, innovative individual with expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, evidence generation, AI, and machine learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Category Strategy in line with the global Target Operating Model (TOM).
- Optimize purchasing channels and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Introduce potential innovations and leverage local market intelligence.
- Utilize sourcing tools effectively (RFX, parallel negotiation, etc.).
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate sourcing risks.
- Maximize the use of Master Services Agreements (MSAs) or Frame Services Agreements (FSAs).
- Evaluate and maintain relationships with existing and potential local suppliers.
- Provide feedback to the Corporate Category Manager as required.
- Actively manage and align with local Business Partners.
- Coordinate Business Partner demands within procurement, ensuring adequate support and information sharing.
- Potentially lead and drive regional procurement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pharmaceutics, or related field from an accredited institution (Master’s degree preferred).
- Major focus: Business Administration or Pharmaceutics.
- 4-7 years of experience in category management and sourcing.
