My client is a world-renowned brand that develops medical devices for consumer use, and they need you to help with their continued expansion.
They are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to join them to help develop automated test systems for their complex medical devices.
Responsibilities:
- Software Testing & Analysis: Evaluate and analyze software using automated and manual testing methods, create and run testing procedures, and retest software after bugs are fixed.
- Test Automation & Development: Architect, implement, and document software test automation tools, ensuring full requirements traceability and compliance with FDA standards.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Perform system software debugging, troubleshooting, and profiling, and assist in identifying the root cause of software issues.
- Documentation & Compliance: Document test protocols, results, and software requirements, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders, attend meetings, and contribute to the technical direction and process improvements
Requirements:
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in C++, C# or Python.
- Medical Device Experience: Experience in software testing and automation for medical devices, familiar with relevant standards (IEC62304, ISO14971, IEC60601).
- Software Development Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, including automated testing, code profiling, and optimizing software.
- Documentation Skills: Proficiency in developing software test documentation and ensuring compliance with medical device regulations.
- Educational Background: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Physics, Math, or Electrical Engineering.
