We are currently seeking a WATER RESOURCE ENGINEER to design environmental infrastructure in the areas of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, distribution and collection systems, and storm water systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Perform design work and calculations for water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, distribution and collection systems, using AUTOCAD Civil 3D.
- Perform hydraulic analysis and design of water and wastewater systems operating via gravity or pressure networks.
- Develop water/wastewater plans to coincide with submittal dates for multiple projects
- Analyze and perform watermain design, sanitary sewer design, sanitary and storm water pump station design, water booster station design, water and wastewater treatment design.
- Responsible for regulatory coordination and permit applications.
- Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed for plans, revisions, and markups.
- Assist Project Manager in developing budget and estimating extent of scope and budget overruns.
Qualification/Requirements:
BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, AG or related academic program is required.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, WaterCAD, and SewerCAD preferred.
