Shift Digital invites applications for the role of QA Automation Engineer II. This position is designed for professionals with some experience in QA automation, looking to deepen their expertise in automated testing and software quality assurance. Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain advanced automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Integrate and manage automated tests within our DevOps pipeline, ensuring high-quality code deployment.
- Conduct thorough automated testing in both pre-production and production environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to refine test requirements and address software defects.
- Lead initiatives to improve test automation strategies and processes.
Advanced Test Development
- Develop complex test scenarios to validate software functionalities and performance.
- Optimize and enhance automation test scripts for efficiency and coverage.
Team Collaboration and Mentorship
- Provide guidance and support to junior QA automation engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
Required Skills
- Strong coding skills in languages like Python, Java, or C#.
- In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and automated testing environments.
- Proven experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Desired Skills
- Experience in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and services.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in software QA, with a focus on test automation.
Location
