About the Role:
This mid-senior-level role is ideal for candidates with 5+ years of experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance planning in a heavy industrial environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a collaborative approach, and proficiency with relevant software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule all electrical maintenance work in the South Ingot and Can Reclamation Departments.
- Serve as a liaison between production, engineering, and maintenance teams.
- Ensure all necessary information is available for Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance Orders, and Predictive Maintenance tasks to optimize efficiency for craft personnel.
- Identify, obtain, and document materials, special tools, or equipment needed for tasks, ensuring they are staged and pre-kitted to maximize wrench time.
- Review completed work, schedule follow-up tasks, and update information for future work in Oracle eAM.
- Maintain weekday and weekend work schedules, as well as planned outage work.
- Collaborate with the EHS team to address safety, health, and environmental concerns prior to scheduling work, including the completion of safe work plans and contractor approvals.
- Enter production and maintenance data to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Update and maintain documentation such as survey and calibration records, work instructions, and environmental records.
- Order and stock materials to support production and maintenance departments.
- Backfill as Maintenance Supervisor as needed to cover vacations, weekends, and off shifts.
- Assist with managing the Overtime System.
Outage Coordination Responsibilities:
- Build, track, and maintain outage schedules for the Ingot department.
- Collaborate with crafts and contractors to maintain task continuity during outages.
- Conduct pre-outage meetings to align tasks with department management, job kit parts, and any necessary equipment or manpower.
- Utilize the Outage Playbook for planning, tracking, and post-outage reviews.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical maintenance planning and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage conflict resolution effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive experience with ORACLE eAM or equivalent maintenance software.
- Proficiency in Primavera or Microsoft Project scheduling software or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and produce field sketches.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new applications.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Advanced knowledge of ORACLE eAM and scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
