Position Summary:
Bull City Talent Group's direct client has an immediate need for an SAP WM Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on SAP WM experience, strong analytical/problem-solving skills, and have an excellent understanding of underlying manufacturing business processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Configuration of SAP WM module.
- Implement SAP WM configuration, processes, as well as standards and communicate those to senior management.
- Support application testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement activities by correcting configuration and responding to scope changes and application enhancements.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex and multi-dimensional problems with business end users and/or other IT professionals.
- Communicate business stakeholder needs to the SAP development team by translating business requirements into SAP technical requirements.
- Research business requirements, develop detailed specifications, and validate the SAP solutions with business stakeholders.
- Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope/objectives with business stakeholders.
- Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through an SAP module and/or new technology or alternative use of existing technology and communication those solutions to senior management/executives.
- Coach, review, and delegate work to lower level professionals.
- Lead business process integration and testing across SAP modules and external applications.
- Develop test scenarios, test scripts, and perform end-to-end testing.
- Utilize detailed knowledge of SAP ABAP programs, function modules, SAP scripts, User Exits, ALE, and IDOCs to write excellent functional specifications for technical team based on requirements gathered from the business.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in supporting software development life cycle and methodologies for enterprise applications
- 5+ years of SAP WM configuration
- 5+ years of administration/support of RF Guns, Scanners, Scales and Label Printers in a heavily customized manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of underlying manufacturing business processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to wear multiple hats and eagerness to learn new aspects of business
- Prior S/4 HANA experience preferred, not required
- Prior SAP Plant Maintenance experience preferred, not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Business Systems or any other related discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
