Role: Engineer (Pipeline Integrity)

Location: Houston, TX
Summary:
The main function of this Engineer role will be to research and interpret regulatory required documents to establish pipeline and facility maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) and maximum operating pressure (MOP).
• Responsibilities:
o Research MAOP/MOP records including pressure tests, material test records, drawings, purchase orders and other relevant documentation generated during the pipeline and facility design and construction process
o Interpret and evaluate record documentation according to record completion and accuracy quality standards
o Compile MAOP/MOP record packages including evaluation results
o Peer review the work of other team members to ensure consistent interpretation is being applied
• Skills:
o Ability to understand and interpret drawings and technical information
o Team player and detail oriented
o Verbal and written communication, analytical and problem solving ability
• Education/Experience:
o Bachelor's degree in engineering required
o 5-7 years relevant experience
o Familiarity with 49 CFR 192 MAOP and 49 CFR 195 MOP requirements
o Working knowledge of GIS preferred
