Reporting to the Walgreens Business Director, the Manager, Revenue Growth Management- Walgreens is a pivotal role within the No7 Beauty Company, responsible for driving growth through strategic pricing, promotional activities, and trade management at Walgreens. This position focuses on analyzing past performance, understanding market dynamics, and making data-driven recommendations to optimize revenue, profitability, and trade investments.
This is a hybrid position that requires a presence in the Chicago or Deerfield office at least three times per week during business hours, in addition to important company-related events.
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing Strategy Development: Create and implement pricing strategies that align with company objectives and market conditions to maximize revenue and market share, balancing profitability.
- Promotional Analysis and Optimization: Evaluate past promotional activities to identify successful tactics and areas for improvement. Develop and recommend optimized promotional plans that drive sales and enhance brand presence.
- Trade Management and Optimization: Manage trade budgets and optimize trade investments to ensure maximum return on investment. Develop trade strategies that align with overall business goals and retailer objectives.
- Revenue Growth Management: Utilize revenue growth management principles to identify opportunities for improving pricing, promotional, and trade efficiency. Balance short-term sales goals with long-term brand equity and profitability.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to uncover insights that inform pricing, promotional, and trade decisions. Use these insights to develop actionable recommendations for the business.
- Collaboration with Walgreens: Work closely with Walgreens' merchandising, marketing, and trade teams to ensure alignment on pricing, promotional, and trade strategies. Foster a strong partnership to drive mutual growth.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop and manage pricing, promotional, and trade budgets. Provide accurate forecasts and track performance against targets.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the impact of pricing, promotional, and trade activities on sales and profitability. Adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain, to ensure cohesive execution of pricing, promotional, and trade strategies.
- Strategic Recommendations: Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, providing clear and compelling rationales for proposed actions.
A bit about you…
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of Consumer Packaged Goods RGM or net revenue management experience
- Proven track record in pricing, promotions, trade management, revenue growth management, or net revenue management, preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at various levels.
- Experience working with retail partners, preferably with Walgreens or similar retailers.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
