Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Project, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and environmental compliance to achieve project objectives.
- Lead and manage IRA tracking, ensuring alignment with JV Industrialization plan and compliance with regulatory.
- Develop and implement methodologies for calculating greenhouse gas emissions across the entire value chain.
- Analyze data from mining operations, cell and module manufacturing to identify key sources of emissions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on greenhouse gas emissions, highlighting areas for improvement and strategies for reduction.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all processes and findings, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with cell engineering, cell suppliers, JV partners, and JV materials suppliers to gather data and align efforts.
- Communicate project progress and outcomes to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Identify and implement best practices for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to greenhouse gas emissions and sustainability.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale projects within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Deep understanding of greenhouse gas emissions, including sources, measurement, and reduction strategies.
- Familiarity with industrial processes, particularly in mining and manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on environmental sustainability or greenhouse gas emissions.
- Experience in the automotive industry or manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
