This position is based out of our Denver, CO office and is eligible for a hybrid schedule after the probationary period.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Manager of Advisor Relations and Client Service oversees the day-to-day activities of the Relationship Managers working with Registered Investment Advisors, Broker Dealers, and Investment Representatives relationships. This includes providing leadership, guidance, acting as a resource, and measuring performance. The Manager works effectively across business lines to establish strong working partnerships to ensure the broader company goals and initiatives are met. Manages firm to optimum performance and strict adherence to budget and staffing commitments.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Sets and enforces performance goals for direct reports
- Drives organizational capability by building and developing a highly committed and capable team, coaching, and mentoring incumbents and attracting additional talent as needed
- Conducts continuous internal examinations of firm’s policies, operational and service procedures, and compliance requirements
- Manages and/or coordinates core business functions that are essential to service delivery
- Builds and maintains a positive team environment encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and models behavior to foster EAS culture and values
- Assists with escalated issues and other operating activities in periods of high volume
- Collaborates with the management team to identify and analyze systems and processes for improvement to streamline the advisor experience
- Manages a metric driven environment
- Assists in hiring, coaching, and managing Relationship Management Team and other employees
- Oversees that trade corrections are processed correctly and in a timely manner
- Ensures ongoing communication with affiliate partners in exceeding service level agreements, and in assessing and achieving financial goals of the company
- Communicates effectively and handles multiple priorities while maintaining professional and positive attitude
- Supports sales efforts to drive new business through creative servicing and operational strategies – fosters continuous improvement in the way we serve clients
- Assists in defining EAS project priorities and reviewing and providing feedback on requirements, documents, and client acceptance testing
- Works effectively with Human Resources to ensure associates are managed in a fair, caring and consistent manner, and that training, and career opportunities are available for all
- Performs other duties and project tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong knowledge and understanding of IRA and Custodial Account rules and regulations
- Knowledge and experience working with Registered Investment Advisors and/or Broker Dealers preferred
- Experience managing and developing direct reports preferred
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Portfolio Management Systems
- Ability to use multiple systems for the tracking of transactions, client account information, communication, and daily business activities

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
