Introduction
Zenus seeks a full-time Data Insights Specialist in Austin, Texas. The core focus of this role is to transform data collected by our service into actionable insights for our clients.
This position is critical in driving account growth and retention for our company.
The ideal candidate can convert raw information into learnings and recommendations with minimal context. Effective and concise communication is necessary.
Typical Responsibilities
#1: Data Analysis (Looker Studio, PowerBI, Tableau, other)
Combine data from our service with on-site context and other relevant information to identify trends. Key metrics include traffic, dwell time, energy scores, and demographics.
#2: Insights Generation (Google Slides, PowerPoint, other)
Use the data analysis output to derive actionable learnings and recommendations. These should help our customers improve operations, enhance their audience experience, and increase revenue.
#3: Process Creation (Notion, Slack, other)
Establish exploratory data analysis pipelines to streamline future analysis and insight generation for similar use cases. Contribute to the data capture and client presentation processes.
#4: Collaboration (Internal and External)
Work closely with the sales team, installation technicians, graphic designers, and clients to gather requirements and understand business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker Studio.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex insights to non-technical audiences.
- A proven ability to automate data processes and improve efficiency.

Compensation
$75K-$85K plus stock options based on skills and experience. We offer medical, vision, dental insurance, and paid time off. This is a hybrid position.
