SR. Marketing Automation Strategist
$50 - 57.5 an hour
We're looking for a Sr. Marketing Automation Strategist to join Procore's Marketing Automation team. In this role, you'll help us fuel our customer flywheel by delivering best-in-class marketing campaigns and building automated programs to nurture and retain customers. You'll help implement and scale our Braze database, including IP warming, system documentation, and creating templates to scale our campaign operations. This role will lead the buildout of our email and in-app notification programs in Braze to help drive adoption, retention, and expansion.
As a Sr. Marketing Automation Strategist, you'll partner with stakeholders across marketing, product, customer success, and operations to maximize our customer lifecycle initiatives and help stand up our end-to-end customer nurture strategy across email, in-app messages, and push notifications. You'll use your analytical skills to define operational processes and implement technical solutions in Braze.
This position reports to our Senior Manager, Marketing Automation and can be based remotely in the United States. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you'll do:
- Execute on all global email campaigns, nurture programs, in-app messages, content cards, and push notifications in Braze, including segmentation, HTML & Liquid scripting, testing, deployment, and continuous optimization
- Manage our customer database, ensuring data hygiene, compliance measures, accurate tagging, and troubleshooting any data issues between Braze and other systems
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience Marketing team on the ideation, implementation, and measurement of omnichannel nurture strategies to maximize activation, engagement and retention across the entire customer journey
- Develop reports and dashboards that enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions on marketing campaign strategies
- Provide input on campaign and program improvement, analyze email/in-app message performance, and provide testing recommendations
- Provide input on the data ingestion into Braze to ensure we are setting up the system in a way that is operational for complex targeting in marketing campaigns
- Act as the subject matter expert on Braze and teach other team members best practices
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business, or comparable work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS capacity, ideally in marketing automation/operations
- Expert-level experience in Braze, including familiarity with SDK setup and implementation support
- Experience building omni-channel campaigns and canvasses across email, in-app, push notifications, and content cards
- Experience with reporting on email campaign and program performance and providing insights and recommendations
- A critical thinker who is highly organized and detail-oriented
- Familiarity with editing and optimizing HTML, CSS, and Liquid
