Job Title: Network Architect (Lab Innovations)

As a Network Architect overseeing our Innovation Network Lab, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge network solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating various technologies to support advanced research and development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Design and Architecture:
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust and scalable network architecture for the Innovation Network Lab.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and align network solutions accordingly.
Vendor-Specific Expertise:
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco WAN/LAN/WLAN technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco Firepower and Palo Alto Firewalls to ensure a secure network environment.
DDI Infrastructure:
- Manage and optimize the DDI infrastructure, leveraging expertise in Infoblox solutions.
- Implement DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions to support the unique needs of the lab environment.
Out-of-Band Devices:
- Deploy and manage out-of-band devices to facilitate secure and efficient remote access and monitoring.
Unified Communications:
- Possess knowledge of AudioCodes Voice solutions to support unified communications within the lab.
Visibility and Monitoring:
- Implement monitoring solutions to provide real-time visibility into network performance and security.
- Utilize Gigamon products for enhanced network traffic visibility and analysis.
Security Implementation:
- Implement and manage security policies using Cisco ISE for network access control.
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, changes, and architecture.
- Generate regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and utilization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE) highly preferred.
- Proven experience in designing and managing complex network architectures.
- Knowledge of Infoblox DDI solutions and hands-on experience.
- Familiarity with out-of-band management and remote access technologies.
- Expertise in network security, firewall management, and access control.
- Previous exposure to AudioCodes Voice solutions and Gigamon products is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
