Responsibilities:
Safety Awareness and Compliance:
- Identifies safety hazards and adheres to safety protocols for personal protection, fellow workers, and the public.
Technical Proficiency:
- Reads and interprets instruction manuals, blueprints, and control system drawings.
- Applies acquired knowledge to daily tasks under the supervision of the Lead Electrician.
Documentation:
- Maintains accurate written and electronic records (e.g., work orders, calibration sheets, time cards, material requests) to document work progress.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Repairs, tests, troubleshoots, inspects, installs, removes, and maintains solar site equipment (e.g., solar panels, inverters, transformers, breakers, switchgear, SCADA equipment).
Supervision and Training:
- Guides and trains apprentice electricians and coworkers in safe tool usage and maintenance procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Performs any other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience of commercial/industrial solar electric/electronic maintenance experience in the repair, inspection, testing, installation and/or maintenance of related electrical/electronic equipment.
- Mechanical experience is a plus
- Current Journeyman's Electrical License with the state of MN.
- Valid US driver's license
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
