Job Summary
Our client north of Boston has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join their growing team! For this position, candidates must be US Citizens and have the ability to obtain a security clearance. Candidates should also come equipped with an engineering degree in mechanical, chemical or plastics engineering. Candidates with at least 5 years of Project Management experience and must-have technical knowledge in the Aerospace and Defense industry, will do very well in this role! Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous and controlled operation for producing specified products
- Coordinate programs and cross-functional teams to tackle complex aerospace and defense challenges
- Lead teams through Agile development processes internally
- Manage schedules, budgets, and provide overall direction for successful program completion
- Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and translate their vision into reality, and maintain relationships
- Liaise with internal manufacturing, suppliers, and leadership teams
- Support manufacturing line operations
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, including implementing Lean Manufacturing Concepts
- Define critical mechanical inputs for projects
- Develop, execute, and analyze Design of Experiments (DOEs)
- Ensure productive maintenance adheres to defined procedures
- Oversee defect analysis and direct response or corrective actions for Manufacturing Readiness Tests (MRTs)
- Conduct process training, including operator training for all process-related changes, and standardize operations
- Develop teams and lead or participate in them to accomplish process improvements
