Key Areas of Impact:
You'll be at the forefront of supporting our Sales and Purchasing teams, focusing on the purchasing and replenishment of inventory while driving technology that powers our growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- System Optimization: Champion the utilization and optimization of Oracle ERP, ensuring seamless integration with all business applications to align with our strategic objectives.
- Strategic Planning and Change Management: Collaborate to execute forward-thinking IT strategies that enable our expansion into e-commerce and beyond, while implementing effective change management practices.
- Integration and Automation: Drive the integration of cutting-edge applications into our current and future systems, with a focus on automation and continuous process improvement.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Be the go-to expert for resolving day-to-day operational challenges within Oracle ERP and WMS, ensuring smooth operations.
- Training and Development: Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, providing ongoing training and development to keep the IT team sharp and skilled in system utilization and support.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Oracle and other vendors to guarantee seamless day-to-day support.
- Project Management: Steer relevant IT projects to successful completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Reporting and Compliance: Uphold industry standards and company policies by ensuring compliance in all IT activities. Generate insightful reports on Oracle ERP utilization and growth opportunities.
- Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses and needs assessments to align IT solutions with our company's strategic initiatives.
- Requirements Documentation: Develop and maintain clear functional specifications for new and modified business systems, ensuring all needs are met.
- System Solutions Delivery: Participate in the full lifecycle of system solutions-from configuration to testing, deployment, and validation.
- Training: Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions on hardware and software usage, empowering team members with essential skills.
- Support: Provide vital support for production and development environments, including on-call assistance after business hours as necessary.
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of Business Systems Analysts to coordinate support efforts and drive project success.
- Enterprise Application Support: Develop and manage an enterprise business systems team that supports key applications, including ERP, EPM, ADW, CDM, MDM, and more.
- Best Practices: Ensure the implementation of industry best practices for the development and maintenance of enterprise applications.
- Application Design: Contribute to the design and architecture of applications to meet diverse business requirements, particularly in Oracle Cloud and business intelligence areas.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of projects and systems.
- Procurement and Inventory Streamlining: Optimize procurement and inventory processes within the category management department to enhance operational efficiency.
- Category Management Systems: Implement and monitor systems that support effective category management and supplier relationship management.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a business analyst or in a related role, with a strong background in large-scale enterprise applications.
- At least one year of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP is required.
- Comprehensive understanding of corporate procurement functions and related business applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to navigate complex challenges.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills that inspire collaboration and drive results.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Previous experience in financial services and processes is highly desirable
- Experience in procurement and inventory management, with an understanding of category management systems.
