Objective:
This Resource will provide services for Inmate Tracking System (ITS) and Inmate Records Information System (IRIS) Projects.
Typical Deliverables:
Resource will research and understand the scope and business requirements of the Inmate Tracking System (ITS) project.
Resource will research and understand the scope and business requirements of the Inmate Records Information System (IRIS) project.
Resource must ensure the development of interfaces for the ITS project is complete by working with business analysts and developers to help create specifications, interface design documents, and complete data compliance reviews as needed to complete the interfaces.
Resource will work with project subject matter experts to implement multifactor authentication, active directory integration, and single sign-on as needed for the ITS project.
Resource must provide support and complete tasks assigned with the ITS project operational readiness review.
Resource must aid in completing tasks assigned with training users for the ITS project.
Resource will complete project tasks scheduled to be completed for the IRIS project.
Resource will complete validation of technical requirements for the IRIS project.
Resource will complete business analysis documentation as need for the IRIS project interfaces: Healthlink/EPIC, and DataWorks.
Resource will complete tasks as assigned for the IRIS project.
Resource will work with the TSS network support team to conduct Spartan device testing for the ITS project.
Resource must support developers and complete testing tasks assigned for testing of interfaces for the ITS project.
Resource must support business analysts and the project team by consulting and providing hands-on support to ensure user acceptance testing is conducted.
Resource must provide support and complete disaster recovery tasks assigned for the ITS project.
Resource will provide support as assigned to both the ITS and IRIS projects.
Resource will provide operational support as assigned.
Resource will provide knowledge transfer to County resources as needed to continue operations and support for the ITS and IRIS projects.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Must have two or more years of experience as a senior business system analyst working on large scale projects as
well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
Must have experience working in the Public, Safety, and Justice domain working as a senior business analyst.
Must have strong business analysis skills, including understanding Waterfall and Agile principles.
Must have strong project management ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point,
Must have data analysis experience, understanding of indices, fundamentals and analytical data, must have proficiency with MSSQL, extracting data, building queries, data validation, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerBI.
Must have data migration experience.
Must have excellent experience analyzing, gathering requirements for system integration of interfaces and data
exchanges.
Must have strong technical security knowledge; specifically, how to comply with criminal justice information system data.
Must have a strong breath of technical understanding of operating systems, applications, databases, networking, and security systems.
Must have excellent experience authoring, documenting, and diagramming experience.
Must have a strong ability to provide mentoring to junior business analysts.
Must have strong relationship building skills.
Must have strong communication, and presentation skills.
Must have strong problem-solving ability.
Must have strong leadership ability to influence and guide business stakeholders.
Must have strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Four (4) year college degree in Information Technology or seven (7) years of relevant work experience in the area of business analysis. two of those years must include work experience in the role of a senior business system analyst.
Business Analysis certification such as CBAP, CBDA, CPRE, BPA, AAC.
