Education and Experience Required
- BS/BA – Would be Preferred but will consider experience in lieu of.
- 8 plus years’ experience managing in a Ready to Eat Food Processing facility
- Plant Management: 3 year (Preferred)
- Food processing: 10 years (Required)
- HACCP experience required
- Excellent analytical and PC skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Can multi-task and work pro-actively in a fast-paced energetic environment
- Performance management
- Resolving Conflict
- Working knowledge of regulations and guidelines imposed upon meat – poultry operations by federal and state agencies and authorities required.
Summary:
- Responsible for daily plant operation. Establish plant policies and procedures.
- Responsible for plant production goals and executing safety initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strong company values and employee relations. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
- Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures focusing on food safety, quality and worker safety.
- Maintain a clean and safe plant.
- Responsible for plant production goals.
