Advantage Technical is seeking a Craftsperson – Manufacturing Maintenance for our client in Irvine, CA who strive to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment! They are looking for a highly skilled candidate who has a solid skillset and background of technical, mechanical, and electrical skills.
Contract Duration: 6-months with (the possibility for extension or conversion)
3-5 years of experience = Pay: $33-$35 per hour
5+ years of experience = Pay: $40-$42 per hour
Shift/schedule – Night shift; Wed–Sat (5pm-5am)
REQUIRED - candidates should possess direct experience with any or a combination of the following:
- Gear boxes
- Conveyors
- Drive systems
- Models
- Control systems
- Relays
- Sensors
- Mechanical and electrical tools
- Reading and understanding electrical schematics/diagrams
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Reading and understanding electrical schematics/diagrams
- Basic PLC and controls troubleshooting
- Low and high voltage controls
- LOTO performance
Job Function | Day-to-day- working with senior mechanic to troubleshoot equipment (labelers, customize equipment, etc.)

· Performs scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines and systems.
· Repairs the malfunction of machines, systems and auxiliary equipment.
· Routinely checks on machinery and systems for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize downtime interruptions.
· Initiates improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency.
· More senior position might act as a team leader to ensure that the work meets agreed targets by directly overseeing team members.
· Must demonstrate knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices.
· Will become the subject matter expert at higher levels of job.
· Documents activities accordingly.
Education
· High school diploma/G.E.D required, Associate’s or technical degree preferred.
Experience
· 5+ years related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level.
