Fit is seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to join a growing, stable company on the Eastern Shore. This person will be responsible for designing products using computer-aided design software applications such as AutoCAD, creating and testing prototypes, and overseeing other drafters. Salary is up to $100K depending on experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design frameworks for a project.
- Work with the sales team and manufacturing manager to help develop, manufacture, and market a product.
- Create detailed design documentation.
- Estimate the time and costs required to complete a project.
- Define, create, and maintain development methodologies, procedures, and standards.
- Create drawings in both 2 and 3-dimensional form.
- Create designs for our products that our primarily used in the industrial market (oil & gas).
- Aid in the selection of materials for the products.
- Produce final design specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
- 5+ years of CAD experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
