We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Technician to oversee the design and engineering of facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems for complex industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Perform power system studies, including short circuit, load flow, protective coordination, and arc flash analysis.
- Ensure construction, installation, and operational testing meet functional specifications and customer requirements.
- Prepare technical specifications and documents for bidding and construction.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Professional Engineer license preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for buildings.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and power system studies.
- Experience with Revit or BIM software is a plus.
